| 3:15 am | Monday, March 1, 2010 6:38PM EST Just got the printing machines up and running but The Front Porch will now also be doing custom printing and invitations, stationary and cards. I have to admit I am amazed by the amount of orders I get. People want all kinds of things. Recently I've made rosaries, which I was surprised at the number of people who have been interested in them. Also a nice assortment of rings, necklaces. I am also beginning to take prom jewelry orders. If you are looking for custom prom jewelry stop by The Front Porch. [Franklin] I hope New York will be graced with your presence again soon, love. | 5:00 am | February 11, 2010 7:35AM EST I had a very odd request yesterday. Someone came in and asked if I could create a spider out of beads. Apparently his girlfriend is fascinated and obsessed with all kinds of insects, bugs and spiders. I personally find them quite gross. I spent almost all of last night working on it. When it was finally time for bed I left it on the counter. Half awake, I go into my kitchen and reach for the freshly brewed coffee pot and nearly have a heart attack. It looks real and certainly not something I would leave lying around my home. Hopefully he will be in today to pick it up. I took a picture. I am not one to brag but I was fairly impressed with the way that it turned out. Also, I came across some gorgeous looking beads. They are described as cosmic beads. Aren't they lovely? |
